I have an 02 Honda Civic. Occasionally, the speedo goes to all 8’s, tach sticks at 1500, gas guage goes to full. Sometimes dash lights don’t work and brake indicator light is on. This is random and will sometimes revert to normal while driving. What would cause this? Where do I start?

I would start by checking the ground wire to the insturment panel.
