I have a fuse blowing in my 98 Citation that is in the panel light/exterior running lights (front and back). Could the short be in the dimmer switch in the dashboard or is that unlikely? Any guesses as to where to look for the short would be welcoe
Pull every bulb in the circuit…then replace fuse and turn on the lights…does it blow the fuse? no? keep adding bulbs…
If yes…the short will be harder to pinpoint but still possible…ill not try to guide u thru it over posting however…thatd be silly and a lot of typing…
could also take years this way… but try that first.
When you pull all the bulbs out, look carefully at each bulb socket. One of them may have melted a little and allowed the contacts to short together.
