If you put an angled wedge over the intake of that PVC fix, and some spring-loaded flappers over the outflow vents, it could also replace a broken radio.

At least he vented the AC out the window. In the late 70’s, a guy
I worked with bolted a window AC in the back of his van to cool it
when he camped. I mentioned w/o ducting it’d only make the van
hotter. “You don’t know what you are talking about. It works
fine”, was the reply. His friends agreed it was a great idea. I
nodded, smiled and walked away.
