I’m losing power in the car because the battery keeps dying. I replaced the Alternator and got a brand new battery. The truck ran for about 3 more days and died again. I don’t know what it is now?
The wiring to the alternator should be checked.
If this is a 97 check mini fuse 6 in the power dist box under the hood.
That fuse was blown on my 97 & a new fuse did’nt blow, so charging problem solved.
If not a 97 look at the fuse list in your owners manual for a fuse listed as strangely enough “Generator/voltage regulator”
its a 2001 but I will check the fuses… Another fuse did blow for the stereo and dash lights kinda right before this started happening?
