Back in the day, the warranty lady at the dealership drove one of those 2 door Escorts like in the video . . . was it called ZX2 or something like that?

In my area the two words are used synonymously. Some city’s contract out w/the county sheriff’s office, other’s use their own city police department. Either can give tickets anywhere in the state. It matters not who gives you a ticket, you still have to pay.

Thanks everyone! This discussion was awesome. I’m tempted to ask our local sheriff, but it’s probably true that it’s easiest to replace the whole ass’y. At $100 and a 1AAuto video, I can’t go wrong. I would think new ass’ys would help.
