A coworker had one of these in 95 or so. Whew. 25 yrs ago. Ran poorly. Turns out a few injectors were unplugged. I see it has a grey steel wheel and a black wheel and 2 alum wheels. Well, it is old. Another coworker bought a new 95 z28 and we compared them. Looked like a spaceship next to bronco.
Yeah that was the first thing I noticed. I had found a nice set of wheels that I wouldāve gotten for this truck as my first order of business.
ā¦ via hard copies showing the repairs/modifications that were supposedly done.
Anyone can claim that they āhad a lot into itā, but if they canāt substantiate that claim, then it has to be considered to be non-factual.
I looked at the ad-I donāt see where they spent the moneyā¦
I would put the two three-lug-nut wheels on the back, puthe spare and any other weight up front, andrive gently home.
So let me get this straight. On a car that normally has five lug nuts per wheel, all of them are missing at least one, and two are missing an additional one?
What is the pattern of missing lug nuts? Are the wheels that only have three have them all in a row, or are they spaced out as evenly as possible in a triangle pattern?
Iāve driven a car that normally had five lug nuts per wheel with one missing, but only for a short time, and Iāve driven a car that normally had four lug nuts per wheel with one missing, but only to the shop to get it fixed, but if all three remaining lug nuts on one of your wheels are all in a row, Iād take a had pass on this vehicle rather than drive it in that condition, just like I would on a car that normally had four, but only had two remaining on the same side of the wheelās center.
This '86 Bronco is a beater, and the most Iād offer for it is $500.
Someone bought it before I could even look at it, and the guy said the least he would take was 1100$.
Long story short. Itās not my problem. Wouldāve probably been an endless money pit.
I think someone sold the tires and rims off this thing and just put on whatever the cheapest mounted tires and enough lug nuts from s junkyard to hold them on so he could drive it someplace to be sold.
The dealer had another Bronco II there, so I guarantee thatās what he did.
