The top 7 are all from GM, Ford, and Jeep.

That wasn’t always the case . . .

For awhile, the Toyota Camry built in Kentucky was the vehicle with the most US content

And it ignores the fact there’s still plenty of well selling vehicles with domestic badges which are built in Canada or Mexico

The window sticker said the Acura was 70 or 75% US but there really isn’t a whole lot of difference between 70% and the 78% needed to make the top 10.

The way the article is written it isn’t clear whether US and Canadian parts are grouped together or not. I’d guess he groups the two together since no other countries are mentioned. We could guess at the intent of the work if we know who paid for it, but that information doesn’t seem to be available. Here is the URL for the index.

…and, at one point, the Mazda 6 had the most US content.
I suspect that the actual amount of US content in any given model is an ever-changing situation.
