Yes, but it is gradually replaced by old driver anxiety :wink:
If you plotted anxiety over age it would probably look like a distorted parabola :grinning:

The soldiers I served with in Nam who became too comfortable were the ones who took too many chances that lead to their deaths or injury. The one who were always a little anxious (but not too anxious) were the ones who had heightened awareness and seems to do the best - especially in tense situations. I think itā€™s always good to not be TOO COMFORTABLE.

I donā€™t like using big words or technical jargon if more widely understood words fit. Iā€™ve made a number of presentations at technical conferences. Iā€™m happiest with the compliment I got from an attendant at one of those presentations. She had no idea what any of the presentations were about even after they were finished but she said she understood what I was talking about. To get through to a non-technical person made me feel great.
