You change the oil properly. Just check it occasionally with whatever vehicle you own.
The dealer states its “normal” according to warranty terms. However in general vehicles do not consume this much oil.
Once the oil study is done you will get proper data. If they consider under 1000 miles normal maybe contact Chrslyer directly and go over dealer.
It is possible the previous owner neglected the oil changes severely (my sis in law does this with her same van) or your engine is simply a dud.
Running oil low only makes the problem worst.
