I’ve semi studied the diagram and really can’t see a whole lot of benefits that a cloverleaf with adequate length of lanes provides. Can’t say I have ever been on one that I recall but looks like several bridges and extra roadway is required. Mayb3 space saving I don’t know.
There is one of these going in that we will need to go through several times a month . It is not finished yet and I don’t plan on using it until all the Orange barrells are gone.
Most areas, where I live, require a left turn from a surface street to enter the interstate. The left turn lane then waits for an arrow or sufficient gap in the oncoming traffic. DDI eliminates left turns across traffic.
Heh, heh when going to a drive in movie near the 494 missed a turn, zip through multiple cloverleafs. Or is it clover leaves?
Yeah I’ve done that. Day dreaming missed the clinc turn on France. Should know better.
