When I say catastrophic, that’s exactly what I mean . . .
Black fluid, metal shavings, etc.
Complete overhaul, replacement of numerous parts, including the torque converter and cooler lines, flush everything, and so forth
And I had warned them at about 30K that it’s time to service the fluid and filter
I even said I would do it, if they provided the fluid and filter
But they knew best, or so they thought . . .
