i have a 88 ford f-150 4x4 302 duel fuel tanks. not getting fuel replaced the rear tank fuel pump and the pump on the frame the truck will start but cuts off going down the road will crank over but will not start go back the next day and it starts. has done it several times. checked fuel pressure getting 38 psi with the key on get 38 psi at idle rev the engine up to 3000 rpms the pressure drops to 25 psi and it feals like it is missing when in a hard pull thanks.
Only way to fix is when it stops running follow ele current till it stops, good chance it a connector or cracked wire.
are you talking about the wires going to the fuel pump?
