is there a problem with leaving the cruise control active even though you have not set it?
I haven’t noticed any, because that is the way it works on at least one of my cars.
Not really except if you hit the button accidently or resume if previously set.
‘No worries mate.’ I have never had issues on my 92 Explorer. I’ll set the cuise on the way to Albuquerque and in a pack of traffic just tap the brake to return to gas pedal driving and if that last 40 or 50 miles or so it pops right back to speed when I hit resume.
