Plugging in rechargable vehicles at home is equivalent from an electricity consumption standpoint to what? Does electricity drain diminish as battery is charged?
Visit the Tesla website. They have the comparison figures. Since Tesla has actually put their car into production and spent the years and time analyzing it, and since every test drive report I’ve read has said that Tesla’s website figures are accurate and not just predictions, I’m inclined to believe their energy consumption comparisno figures also.
