I have a 2000 Hyundai Elantra that I cannot buy a complete fuel pump assembly unit for. (with sending unit) I can buy just the pump but my gas gauge is off. Is there an aftermarket solution for this?
I’m no expert mechanic, but it looks like your sending unit is a separate part rather than being part of an assy. (Click)
It’s not cheap, but any time I’ve had a fuel gauge go south I’ve just used the trip odometer to know when to fill up.

Have you checked the sending unit to make sure the ohms are out of spec ((whatever it is) to make sure your gauge or whatever is not bad??
Might be time to grab your DVOM and hit a few pull a parts places and find a used one…

Off as in not working or off as in not accurate ?

Sorry, does not read correctly.
It’s under backseat. You could put in a used assy and see if it works.

I think Summit Racing sells an aftermarket gadget to correct problems w/fuel gauge accuracy.
