Camry…another vote.
Get a new(er) Camry with a power driver’s seat. There will be up/down adjustment. Gary should test drive it for a wihle to make sure that the seat adjustments are satisfactory.
If you still look at other cars, insist on power seat adjustment.
Funny, my mother has a Continental and my father an '86 Olds 98. My father could afford more but he’s attached to that 98. A lot of new midsize cars today have great rides and gas mileage. Maxima, Camry, come to mind but there are lots of American models too, Taurus.
