my Jeep check engine light comes on man said it was a EVAC problem…is this a multiple sensor issue? yes I checked the gas cap
If you were told to check your gas cap, it is an EVAP system problem. There are codes for a minor vacuum leak and also a major leak. it can be anywhere from a gas cap, fuel tank fill tube, fuel tank or sending unit or thr vacuum lines to the purge valve or charcoal canister or the purge valve itself. If these codes persist and don’t go away you should talk to your mechanic about a smoke test.
