I own a 1994 nissan pathfinder. As a single mom, I make frequent short trips, groceries, dropping the kids off for school, etc. Sometimes, my car doesn’t start. This pattern is unpredictable and very frustrating. When it doesn’t start, I have to wait a few minutes to a few hours before it’ll start again. I’ve changed the starter, battery and still, I have the problem. I can’t afford a new car. What can I do?
You have to be able to have it diagnosed in a non start condition to find the proper cure. One way is to stop by your trusted mechanic every time you pass by, hope it does not start so they can run right out and diagnose it properly. Next best guess is to have the fuel pump replaced.
