My 1997 town and country van stalls when I brake or idle otherwise it drives fine what could that be?
Sounds like a bad idle air control valve.
Clean the throttle body first.
Check for obvious vacuum leaks
If that doesn’t help, replace the IAC
My suggestion to check for vacuum leaks is to get the engine to idle and spray ether “starter fluid” at the various vacuum lines. If you have a leak, the vacuum should draw the ether in and the idle will react to the ether and rise for a moment.
