Car slides around on a wet freeway

… and very possibly he also needs new tires.

@Dyneasha, welcome to the board. What year, make, and model car do you own? Have you ever replaced the tires? Check the tread. Are the wear bars even with the top of the tread? The alignment has nothing to do with your problem. Oil on the road might. I was on a business trip to LA, where it doesn’t rain much, and there was a sun shower. I was going about 25, hit the brakes, and lost all traction. So did everyone else on the road. This might be your problem, too. It’s the main reason to slow down when it rains.

It’s not the alignment. It’s either too fast for conditions or worn/aged tires. Rubber hardens after a while and even with perfect tread they may skid around easily; even on dry pavement.
