Car Pulling = Dangerous?

2000 Chevy Prism? the alignment probably cost more than the car is worth. I would be very leery about putting any kind of money into this car if you have a newer, better, safer car just sitting at home.

Isn’t having an alignment done before the worn parts are changed a waste of money?

This car is really a Toyota Corolla with Chevy badging on it. Unless it’s burning oil and/or excessively rusted, it’s not necessarily the hunk of junk that you imply.

VDCdriver, you nailed it. I rotated my back tires (which were purchased new and have spent their first 10K miles on the rear) to the front and now it drives like a vehicle that just got its alignment. Thanks for the help.

Does that mean you now have mismatched tires on the rear ? If so then it might be wise to put 2 new ones on the rear .

Capri racer has it right on the money. Maybe the alignment is correct but you have a shifted belt or some other tire concern causing the pull
