I guess it’s possible that the obit on Legacy.com refers to him, but I am positive that he didn’t live in NJ.

Seems to me he was a VW Golf owner or something like that.
I recall that he was a long-term VW owner. I think that his experience stretched from Beetles to Golfs.
If I recall right, he had a Beetle Turbo. It came up when people were trying to classify cars as “chick” cars.
