You car computer should register the speed of your car when the accident took place.
If you were driving slowly, as you say, it will provide a proof that all the energy came from the other car.
The other car, if is not too old, should register its speed as well.
Try to check on that, I think it will add some important information to your story.

Update…The kid who hit me…The day before , according to the police report, "He passed a car and almost hit another head on.Then he suddenly stopped in the middle of the road. The witnesses said that they walked over to his car and found him passed out, foaming at the mouth with a can of Dust Off in between his legs."
They found 3 cans of Dust off and a plastic baggy in his car the day he hit my car.
