Yeah, that doesn’t look like spam. That’s actually the most helpful response here. I think i ended up figuring that out a day or two after posting this.

EDITED: to say, I had forgotten I had already said about the same thing the 1st go around on this thread, so I removed that part of the post… oops

Now my wife and I might be in the market for a new(er) vehicle sooner than later and with our health issues as well as round the clock in home care takers for mom, I really don’t feel like going through the rat race, that I used to enjoy while searching for a new or a couple years old vehicle… So I am thinking of finding a broker or whatever to do the leg work for me… I basically know what I want, as soon as I can make up my mind if I want a truck or car… lol…

I know of a few here in this area who are more of a concierge than just a broker, with decades of experience in the industry and I suspect many great contacts at dealers. If you don’t want to deal with the dealership or don’t have time It’s a good option.

If you would have read a few of the posts you might have figured out that someone posted Spam to this idle thread and has since been removed.

All you have to do is to consider why the 6-month later post of “hboyle”–to whom I was responding–was removed.

It was spam, intended to promote a business with which I believe he was associated.

I had a post removed, claimed to be spam, but it wasn’t spam at all. In cases like this where the spam claim is speculative & unproved, the post should remain, but maybe in hidden format imo. Removing the post has caused confusion, as demonstrated here.

There is no confusion , you just did not read enough posts to grasp that Spam was involved . Just like 90 % of all the old posts that are revived from the dead file.

As for your post complain to the Moderstors because if it was the one I am thinking of it did qualify for removal.

If the mod(s) had removed my post stating that it was spam–along with the spam post–there wouldn’t be any confusion–IMO.

Well @hboyle_190982 account has been removed/deleted, so the post probably went with it…

EDIT: meaning the post is gone, but probably was deleted at the same time as the members account, not beforehand… lol
