It’s been about 20+ years now so I just don’t remember but trying to open it up was an issue unless undoing the connection. Not like before when everything just came apart. Maybe if I looked at some pictures or something I’d remember. I don’t even remember which car it was on.
Thought i would drop an update:
Regulator came in. Couldnt find any defects on the slip rings so i popped it on and all is well now. Really glad the new one had pin hole to put a piece of wire through to hold the brushes, i noticed the factory one did not
1 brush was gone on my camaro. Spring was wearing a groove in commutator. At least it was easy to spot the issue.
