What percentage of wear is left on the brake pads of a BMW 325 when the wear sensor light comes on?

it depends on how hard you drive, how long you have been driving without realizing the light was on, and how much $$ you want to spend on brake repairs.
I don’t know on your car, I would ask a bmw shop or take a look at the sensor location in a new bake pad. On my benz, there is still 20-25% left when the light starts to come on. Plenty of time to order parts, make an appointment, etc., but don’t wait too long or you will risk overextending the caliper piston. Better too soon than too late.
