Mushy pedal goes more thasn haf way down & required very heavy pressure. Needed new pads, replaced. Installed new madter/power booster bled lines. no leaks at any point.
Problem persists, but with less pressure. No hands braking, no pulling in either direction.

Did you inspect the rear brakes? If the rear brakes are worn down, this can cause excessive brake pedal travel.
