We own a 1995 Toyota Camry that just recently began to fluctuate back and forth on the temp gauge, but not into the red zone. We have overflow coming out of the radiator cap that is soapy looking and also out of the reservoir to the radiator. It has been suggested that we have a blown head gasket. I don’t see any leakage around the gasket and no vapor in tail pipe or water in oil.
Have you checked your thermostat? I can’t say whether you do or don’t have a blown head gasket, but from what you’ve posted, I’d try that first.
