Cars get driven in the rain, and through high-pressure car washes. The bearings will be fine.
The electricals, on the other hand, will be a nightmare. Salt water and electrical equipment do not play nicely together.

Localized flooding in my area, slept through when we got the brunt of the storm, by then was a Cat 1. Oddly got more wind about 8 hours after the eye passed over us. Power was only out for 24 hours. Last hurricane power was out for 8 days, water out for 2 days.
Video of yellow mclaren floating away today. Owner had new rolls next to it. Why do folks like that take no effort to move cars?
Thatās a good point, butāthen againāevery day I see news articles about items that were stolen from the interior of cars, or cars themselves that were stolen, and in every case lately, the cops noted that the vehicle was left unlocked, and many of them had the key or key fob sitting inside.
So, what might seem perfectly logical to you or me, or what might seem to be prudent behavior, seems to escape a LOT of people nowadays.
BUT, the owner is posting video of his floating car?
Iād get in $1 million car and at least look for higher ground.
Iām practical. Parking ramp? Nearby apartment? Condo?
We are talking about Florida. Flaaaaaat.
If I remember right the highest point in Florida is less than 50 ft. above sea level.
As itās probably on an overpass.
I also heard that some of the SNOWBIRDS missed the mountains so Florida built SPACE MOUNTAIN to make them feel better.
Iāll guarantee that the highest point is on top of a bridge but thatās no place to be in the wind.
On YouTube I follow once in a while rainmanray. Heās a mechanic somewhere in central Florida an pretty interesting watching his repairs in the shop. At any rate tonight he took us on a drive on the road by his rural house showing all the downed trees and what the water level had been the night before.
Out of power for figures 3-4 days yet so showed his generator and 12 v system to keep things going. As the song says, a country boy can survive.
Could not find elevation for my house, but city is 36 feet. I am on,what passes for a hill, house faces east. Rain on my āhillā, north side runoff goes to the Indian River, south side to the St. Johnās. West side goes to neighborās swimming pool.
Our house is at 10 ft or so elevation. A little too close to the surge level we had. My BILs house got 4 ft in the garage and a foot in the house. Drowned one car. I dragged that one out of the garage so I could get to his Ram truck. That one started so small miracles.
His generator was underwater, too. Drained a little fuel to check for water and pulled the plugā¦ shot water out and from the muffler. Wire brushed the plug and it fired up. Did the same for his neighborās gennie.
Space Mountain in Disney world is one of the highest mountains in FL. I live on a hill thatās over twice that high.
