The government has six years to start proceedings against you for tax issues. Shred anythng older than seven years and get rid of them.
@jtsanders I know…I know. I’ve done that with all the others but that one is kinda fun to keep around since it’s the first year I ever filed. 
@VOLVO_V70 She said she would be happy with whatever I got since it was my money but I let her help decide. She plans to take it over once she gets a job where she is going to school. She told me last night it’s the best car she’s ever driven. I think we chose well.
I probably should have kept my first one, too. I understand papyrus documents are valuable today.
