Just put it straight up and down, no wrapping. Takes about an inch.
Fish it through the hole of the clamp before pushing it down on the post.
Fed right from the roll. Break off after tightening the clamp.
If one piece doesn’t take up the slack use two or more, although that could get awkward.
The solder I used was 18 gauge but thinner (for fine electronic work) or thicker (plumbing) is available.
