On Mar 6, 2008, i had the battery terminals cleaned on my 2003 Tundra. On Mar 8, 2008, in rainy weather, my battery was dead. diagnosis – bad battery. since the battery was original equipment, i replaced it. On Jul 24, 2008, again in rainy weather, my relatively new battery was dead. diagnosis – bad battery. does not make sense that a battery would go bad that quickly. suggestions?
Have your alternator checked. A bad alternator can kill a new battery very quickly.
