I have a 2002 Honda CR-V EX. About a month ago I was driving on a very level, smooth road and felt a (front-end?) vibration for about 30 seconds. Really worried me, but didn’t feel it again on the way home. Unfortunately, it has recurred, and I have now pinned down the circumstances - it happens when I am between 30 and 40 mph at about 1500 rpms, pretty much always on a fairly level stretch of road (not too much up or down hill). Any ideas? Tires were just about due, so had them replaced. Tire guys suggested an alignment, saw cupping, so have just had alignment checked - no problems there. I’m worried, about my safety and my budget. Would appreciate feedback, thanks.
When cupping is observed on tires, the first suspects are worn shocks/struts.

Can worn shocks/struts cause vibration as detailed above, also?

Sure, as can cupped tyres.
