When I travel on business, I never rent cars anymore. It’s Uber all the way. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a ride and sometimes

I had some recent warranty work on my Sienna. CarMax called a Lyft car to come pick me up and take me home. This was my very first Lyft or Uber ride. I do not know what it cost but the wait was 3-4 minutes. Took me straight to my driveway. My wife took me to pick it up but I could have Lyfted that trip, too.

I bet if a dealership did a cost analysis of their ‘courtesy’ driver program it’d be cheaper to use Lyft or Uber in many cases.

I agree. I would trust an old Chrysler “K-car” from the 1980s more than I would trust a “self-driving” car today.
