I have a 1993 ford taurus 3.8L V6 automatic GL. Can you tell me the names of all the “sensors” located on my transmission?
It is likely that you are not looking at sensors at all. Those electrical devices you see are switches. One is the neutral safety switch and another is the reverse switch for the back-up lights.
Assume you are trying to work out some problem. Not a lot of sensors on a transmission of this age. Get an ASTG manual for your vehicle to diagnose the problem. bulkpart.com and others have manuals for about $14
As everybody here knows. I am only familiar with the sell it, trade it or junk it sensors.
The only actual “Sensors” on your transmission would be speed sensors and a transmission oil temperature (TOT) sensor. You got something going on we need to know about or that we can help you with??
