I do believe you are wrong. There are places for camping that charge.
I looked it up on their website and it said that you need a pass and they give prices.
Iāve had cars with automatic climate control and plenty of cars without it
I prefer the automatic climate control
Set it and forget it, as far as Iām concerned
No offense to anyone or their wives . . . but I canāt stand it when people are riding with me and they keep fiddling with stuff
I canāt find any fees to drive the Blue Ridge parkway . There are quite a few places where you can leave the parkway and drive down to small towns .
Volvo is correct, No fees to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, been on parts of it many times over the yearsā¦
Thereās one exception to that. If your car has separate temp controls for driver and passenger then show them how to adjust their side. But not yours!
I remember several years ago we were on I-81 and decided to take the scenic route on the Blue Ridge Parkway. There were signs delineating the toll.
Not sure what this sign said but we had zero tolls on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the park service web sites also says it is free to drive.
We have traveled it many times over the years, never paid anything to drive any part we ever were on and I can not find anything stating any frees to drive on it, but I keep finding sites stating it is a free roadā¦
Park Fees
Unlike the Skyline Drive through Shenandoah National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway is free throughout its length. In fact, E.B. Jeffress Park on the North Carolina section of the Parkway honors the NC highway official that lobbied against making it a toll road. Access to visitor centers, picnicking, and other such activities is also free.
JT, youāre simply thinking of another road. I have a friend in Roanoke, VA. We ride our motorcycles on the Blue Ridge Parkway, no tolls.
Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park.
Skyline is a separate road.
My car does have dual zone automatic climate control standard
Thankfully, I donāt currently have any fidgety passengers
But Iāll be sure to show them how to separately adjust THEIR OWN temperature, if I transport such a person in the future
Thanks for the suggestion
