90s’ domestic cars are cheaper than 90s’Toyotas or Hondas.That is why.They waste gas unlike the latter.In many ghettos people can afford only old domestic cars.In the long run they suffer the financial consequences of their decisions but when they buy them they are cheaper than foreign cars.

Sorry, but your statement doesn’t make sense to me. Are you saying that imports are regularly driven 30-40k per year, while domestics are normally driven only 8-10k per year? I don’t think import vs. domestic drivers are that much different!
I thought Honda engines lasted FOREVER…Why would anyone need to rebuild one?? It’s the automatic transmissions used in Japanese cars that are not economically rebuildable.
