AC control for 97 Mountaineer

My ac on my suv began to behave in an intermittent behavior. The compressor is ok.

I narrowed it down to the WOT AC Relay. (i thought) After some frustrating time I concluded that the power control module may be faulty. I disconnected the control wire from the PCM to the AC relay. Works great now. However I realize the the AC will run continously when I have the switch on. Also there were no fault codes from the PCM. What is going to happen?

I think the PCM only turns off the compressor when (1) you are starting the car, (2) if the idle speed should fall too low, and (3) when you are at full throttle. You should be okay to just bypass it, just make sure you turn the AC off before starting each time.
