Decades is featuring the old highway patrol shows evidently this weekend. In one scene two 57 ford convertibles, a 57 mercury, and a 56 Buick with a vw scooting by in the background. Who knows what year, they all look the same. The plots are screwy but the cars are fun, and no rust and unrestored.
I had a boxed DVD set of those old episodes. After watching a few, they just seemed to be fairly repetitive, and I gave the set to a friend. How many times can one watch old Brod’s gutteral mumbling of 10-4, 10-4. while he wheels his Buick squad car into one more U-turn with the tires screaming?
I agree used to be fun to watch when I was ten. But this morning he was driving a 57 mercury so he got a promotion.
