A/C Gremlins in 300E

hey everyone

I’ve got a 1991 Mercedes 300E who’s A/C will work great and then stop working the next time I start the engine. It may stay off for 2-3 days and then start working again.

When it’s not working the blower motor is not working, the recirculation button does not work, and hot air blows out the vents.

All is normal when it decides to work.

Currently it’s about 100 degrees here in Virginia. HELP!

It could be several things, you should have it diagnosed because just replacing parts will get expensive, It’s often the climate control unit when these things start acting flaky:
