my 95 escort engine idle is a little to low ,if u turn on the ac at idle it dies. what can it be
One possibility - The idle speed is probably controlled by the engine computer by means of an idle air control valve situated near the throttle plate. This electrically operated bypass air valve can stick or malfunction. When the A/C is turned on, the computer calls for more idle air to compensate for the added load, but the valve cannot supply it so the engine stalls.
If you have access to the web, try a google search for “1995 Ford Escort idle speed control” or something to that effect. The system and valve configuration may vary a little from engine to engine but the basic principal is the same. The valves and sensors often fail. The computer rarely fails.
