'94 Volvo 850 Turbo 2.3

After I hit a bump in the road the car completely shut down. After it sat for about 48 hours it started right up. This happened again after hitting a rough patch in the road and everything went dead. After a couple of days it started. No one can explain it. I’ve checked everything. Could it be it has some kind of impact safety feature.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Next time it acts up, check to see if you are getting spark from the coil. The ignition modules on these cars are kinda fickle. And pricey. We had a similar problem with a 740 GL, and the ignition module was the problem. On the 740, it was located on the side of the fender wall behind the air filter box. This was a non-turbo, so that was driver’s side.
