I 1st noticed my car was leaking water, then it started over heating, i had someone look at it and they said the thermostat is bad, so i just replaced that and i only drove about3 blocks and it didnt overheat, but it is still leaking. do you think my hose could be leaking? it is not my radiator hose its the hose that is attached to the water pump. The water is leaking by the water pump.
If you are certain the leak is NOT from the ‘weep holes’ in the water pump itself, first try to tighten the hose clamp.
If this hose is the original, you may consider replacing it as it is likely the end of the hose could be brittle and won’t be tightened.
