Hello, I have a 1986 Mercedes 300E that overheats and pours coolant out of the resevoir. I have taken the radiator out and was told it is in good shape. The previous owners removed the thermostat in order to prevent overheating. I thought that I should replace the water pump. Does this sound like the best course of action?
