It was in stockcar racing on oval dirttracks it was used. Not stock car racing as you do it over there. In our version You got: 10 points for hitting another car, 20 points for spinning another car and 40 for flipping him over. We normally started 15 cars each heat and waived the flag when we were down to 3 or 4 cars moving. No full frame cars and no v8 and no reinforcing of the body was allowed. Fueltank, batteri, radiator, fireext.,main cutoff and so on was inside the rollcage.
That volvo competed 2 more racedays with some succes (well, I flipped 3 cars and was flipped 2 times, then the left struttower broke of the mastercylinder and jammed the brake), and in total gave me 4 trophees. MAN, that was fun. Below 3 of my friends cars, a Morris Marina, Ford Granada and an Opel Rekord C and some more of the champ (ahemm).
