2023 Hyundai Santa Fe- Losing power

My 2023 Sant Fe having problems when taking off from stop car losing power even push a pedal to floor.

Sorry you are having this difficulty. Frustrating for such a new car. There are quite a few possible causes for this symptom, hopefully yours will be an easy fix. Has the pcm been scanned for any diagnostic codes? If so, what are the numbers? Is the dashboard check engine light on? Has a shop had a chance to look at it? If so, what do they say?

It should be under warranty, take it back to the dealer…

Yup!
Unless the OP has driven the vehicle more than 100k miles since he bought it last year, the Powertrain Warranty is in effect.

There may be a problem with the accelerator pedal position sensor.

Take it back to the dealer for a warranty repair.

50K for the 2nd owner if not the 1st owner…

That’s true, but for the sake of the OP, I really hope that he didn’t buy a car that somebody dumped after just a few months.

If the problem isn’t related to engine, transmission/trans-axle, the 10 year/100,000 mile Powertrain Warranty isn’t going to be much help.

Very true, but unless the OP has driven more than 60k miles in one year, the “Bumper-to-Bumper” warranty will still be in effect, and that covers everything except the powertrain. The only exceptions would be if the vehicle was abused or not maintained correctly.
