Oil consumption and vibration in the engine, when I made the spark plug change, the one in the center was wet with oil from the part of the thread and the burner, only with 45,000km.
After the maintenance the vibration still continues, supports in good condition, I understand it is something in the engine that will cost me money to repair.
That suggests the oil-coated spark plug electrode wasn’t the cause of the vibration. It’s still possible that cylinder isn’t firing, no spark or has low compression etc, and a misfire is causing the vibration. Usually that would throw a diagnostic code, something like p030X. Suggest ask your shop use their scan tool to read out the diagnostic codes. You are welcome to post the codes here for more ideas.
You always say that even after the (any) OP says they just replaced so and so… And as has been discussed on here multiple times, if it is at a shop they are the pros, let them do there thing… NEVER tell a shop how to work or diagnose your vehicle (unless asked), if you are not confident in the shops ability then remove it from that shop cause you are about to really tick off most shops/mechanics!!!
These people are DIYers like YOU asking for help with their vehicles…
Just simply say check your codes and post then here…
But George is right about pulling/checking the codes if the CEL is on or at least checking for pending codes that have not hard set yet… Post them here…
You could run a compression test, but an engine burning a lot of oil and fouling out a spark plug sound like it needs internal repair or full replacement…
But at only 28,000 miles on the engine/vehicle and already burning oil bad enough to foul out a spark plug (if that is what happened), I have to ask, is this the 1st oil change, cause the plugs should be good for a little over 90,000 miles…
No dispute, but your concern seems little on the touchy-feely side for a car repair forum. After all this is not the Psychology Today forum. I expect folks posting here for ideas about how to solve their car problems already know which are effective ways to communicate with service providers, and which aren’t.
