The one way that I know to improve the ride and quietness of almost any vehicle is to mow a field with a 1930s International Harvester F-12 tractor with a sickle bar.
Any kind of field work did not have to be mowing I know from experience the only thing you could say for sure was that the heater worked good in the summer and the AC worked good in the winter.
