2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class - Turbo troubles

How does a turbo seize up at 45,000 kms. The garage said that oil got into the air intake of the turbo and is non compressible and therefore damaged the engine ? Sounds a bit ???

Sounds a bit fishy to me. Turbochargers compress air using impellers, not pistons, therefore compressing a liquid is not an issue. More likely, in my opinion, an oil line to the turbocharger bearings failed.
