My vehicle has 34,000 miles on it and I just experienced this issue while operating at slow speed the brakes did not want to engage properly.
Interesting, what did your service department say was the cause?

It’s not clear what “not wanting to engage properly” means. Did the brakes not work? Did the pedal do something odd? Did the ABS kick in?
